MESSAGE Dear
Members and Guests: What
a fantastic time we all had at the October 12th dance. Under my
encouragement, our good friend Zupe made several important changes. He announced
the rhythm for each song before he played it, and revamped his play list to make
it more Ballroom friendly. Zupe even added several new songs including a 3rd
Tango and a brand new smoking hot Cha Cha. Everyone agreed that Zupe never
sounded better. If you haven’t heard him in a while, do yourself a favor and
check him out in January. It
is no longer necessary to call Jay Claster with your buffet reservations. The
Elks is willing to make enough extra food so that everyone can get something to
eat if they so choose. Speaking of the buffet, we need more members to choose
to buy the buffet! October’s dance makes the 3rd time in 4 dances we
have not covered our $500 obligation to the Elks for hall rental. If
this trend continues we will have no choice but to raise dues for next
year. Please help the club and yourself out and buy a buffet for each
non-dinner dance. We
have our annual Christmas Dinner Dance on December the 14th with one
of our all time favorite bands, BY REQUEST. Tickets are $35 per person for the dinner and dance
or $15 per person for just the dance. Make your reservations early. Please
remember that the charge for each dinner dance is not included in your
